This is a proud moment for KIG to conceptualize the thought leadership of founder chairman transforming to the present need of research impact on society, to launch KRIA. Research is an integral part of higher education that influences the learning process. It’s a very good idea to connect the discovery of new things to the teaching of new students because you don’t want people who come out of their education thinking that the world around them is full of solved problems. You want people to come out of an education excited about solving problems themselves. KRIA is to motivate and inspire the faculty and students to collaborate with industry, NGOs, societal clusters to capture unresolved problems that could be researched, experimented with, and come out with solutions that can be implemented. KRIA plans to have an association with institutions of eminence in the country and world-class research institutions. We are confident that all our efforts will grow into significant epitomes of achievements in the larger industry-academia parlance. On a final note, I request every stakeholder in this consortium to take advantage of the opportunity to define research beneficial to society.
